"There are about 15 protein factors that are known for endothelial cell growth and movement. Among these proteins, two factors (vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF)) are expressed by many tumors and seem to be important in continuous growth of tumor."
