"The study of Lengacher et al., (2006) was in order to make identification of the use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) that relieves symptoms and side effects among women diagnosed with breast cancer and to make identification demographic and clinical factors associated with the use of CAM in these patients. The study design is one that was "a descriptive, cross sectional survey in the setting of clinics and community groups in the Tampa Bay area and community groups in the rural Midwestern area."
