Since it has so much singularity of purpose, it has been able to dominate the political landscape. The NRA is one of the most effective lobbyist groups in Washington and across the United States. Its far reaching hands ensure that no anti gun legislation is passed without contest by the NRA itself. I support this organization first and foremost because I believe in the protection of our constitution right to bear arms, but that is not enough."
