Technology and Teachers
Argues the need for technologically savvy teachers.
1,510 words (approx. 6 pages) | 8 sources | APA | 2008

Paper Summary:

This paper explains that students must have the vital technological input in order to develop useful productivity, but teachers are not prepared to use this technology. The paper then suggests ways that teachers can meet the challenge of technology in the classroom. The paper also discusses the reasons why society demands that the use of technology is integrated into the public school system.

From the Paper:

"There is only a small fraction of teachers that can connect with these diverse students. That kind of connection can only come through formal training, but unfortunately most often it comes from "On-the-job training". Consequently it is the student that unknowingly suffers from the reluctance or inability to integrate the use of technology into the classroom. As tech leader in our school, I have witnessed time and again the lack of understanding of technology in our educators."
