"There are many varying ideas on how people cope when they have been told that they are suffering from a terminal illness and will eventually die within a short period of time. They feel that it is vital to even include the family and those who are close to the individual in the coping process. Relationships, as well as comforting touch and presence, are vital to help terminally ill patients to better cope with their illnesses."
