The paper discusses how the Centre for Health Equity Training states that one method of addressing unemployment in the community is to increase access to community services for those that are unemployed ("Unemployment. 2002, sec. 1). Therefore, the paper asserts that the primary intervention needed in relation to the unemployment in Jersey City is for an organization to be formed that would serve to increase the access to services for the unemployed in the area. The paper suggests that in addition, this group could also seek to explore potential donations of services for the unemployed from private parties, community organizations or through organizations outside of the community. The paper explains that this may include free health screenings, food donations, donations of clothing or other essential needs for this population.
