In this paper, the writer argues that abortion is wrong and notes that it is one of the most controversial moral issues in American society as well as one that has caused an enormous strain between human authority and human conscience. In particular, the writer argues that abortion is wrong for the following reasons: 1. the fetus that is killed because of an abortion is a human being that has rights and human dignity; 2. a couple that is about to become parents have ethical and moral obligations and the responsibility to love their unborn child; and 3. there are consequences to sexual activity.
From the Paper:
"So what else does it mean to be a human being? A human being has embodiment. These unborn babies physically have bodies, and there is room for growth! Humans are also finite beings. All humans are born in this world and die in this world. We were not created perfect. An unborn child also has the right to live life and die in this world like everyone else. Although at the early stages you are unable to visualize certain parts of the body, there is still a heart beating and blood flowing, which in my eyes are the most important part of an everyday person."
