McCain for President
A persuasive argument that Senator John McCain should be the next president of the United States.
1,701 words (approx. 6.8 pages) | 5 sources | MLA | 2008 United States

Paper Summary:

The paper contends that Senator John McCain has shown commitment to his beliefs, constantly fought against governmental spending and corporate interest and he backs his beliefs all the way. The paper asserts that he is a supporter of traditional moral values and he believes that the most important thing our country must achieve for progress is security. The paper maintains that America needs a man of character, a man that has the ability to impose himself as a leader. The paper therefore argues that John McCain represents the best solution for the 2008 elections and for the future of the United States.

From the Paper:

"Senator John McCain should be the next president of the United States. He was elected in the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona in 1982 and in 1986 he was elected to the U.S. Senate due to his proved commitment to eliminate wasteful government spending and strengthen the armed forces. His commitment and dedication to improving the lives of Americans are proved by the fact that the people of Arizona continued to reelect John McCain as their representative in the Senate, his last mandate as an Arizona senator ending in 2011. At the 2004 elections, Senator McCain was overwhelmingly reelected with 77 percent of the vote (John McCain)."
