↶ Look Inside

Paper Summary:

An in depth analysis of the procedures which would determine whether a manager would give his employee a raise or not. Typical questions, answers and scenarios are played out in order for the employee to attempt and prepare himself to the maximum for upcoming salary negotiations.

From the Paper:

"This report will focus on an upcoming negotiation. The negotiation is a business one where I will be negotiating with my employer on both my pay and my work conditions, both of which I wish to improve. The main focus of the negotiation is to improve my working conditions so I can better combine work and study. I am also interested in putting myself in a position where my future career direction is assisted. Increased pay is another desire, though this is secondary to the previous two. This negotiation process will take place as part of my yearly performance review where my progress is discussed and then a pay rise suggested. The negotiation will be between my manager and myself."
