"I would have to say my favorite character of the two is Oedipus. While I really enjoy the humor and perspective of Puck, Oedipus' tragic fate compels me to empathize with him. Oedipus is a good king who only wants to rid his beloved people of the ills that plague them. He is moved to pity by their plight and swears to bring them vengeance for the death of Laertes.
