"Over time I might get over the feeling that my writing is not good enough. Until then I will continue to exercise my skills in my journal and when I have to for school. I would like to be able to enjoy academic writing as much as I enjoy writing for personal reasons. Most people I know are like me or worse, they can't stand writing for themselves. Keeping a journal has been a means to keep myself on track so I can exercise the cognitive muscles that I will need for the rest of my life. I intend to become a better academic writer, even if it means keeping up my journaling or writing poetry no one will ever read."
