"In 1998, I was working as a firefighter, and on this occasion, a call came in at 4:35 am. I was then working at Station 2, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I had not been there long, for I had just graduated from the Fire Academy. The call that morning was to a house fire with occupants, fully involved.
