Paper Summary:

This paper expresses the author's thoughts about completing a bachelor's degree in accounting and evaluates the impact of obtaining this degree on her current and future educational goals. The author looks back on her desire to complete a degree to obtain a better paying job after retiring from the military. The courses the author has studied at the university are reviewed and it is related that the author intends to continue with lifelong learning programs such as various workshops and possibly pursue an advanced degree.
