"Another important thing to remember when dealing with IT departments is communication. It is important for all involved to know about new software being offered or used within the company. Any complications with the current technology equipment within a particular office should also be reported to all IT personnel. At McJunkin, it never fails that someone's computer goes down and only one person in IT is informed. Before you know it everyone is calling several different people whom either did not know of an issue or do not handle those particular issues. For this very reason, is why IT departments should be structured to fit each companies needs."
