Paper Summary:
This paper explains that, because LED Eyelashes has had much success in the Asian market, Soomi Park's first U.S.store should be in downtown San Francisco. The paper indicates that the demographics and psychographics of this area represent the main target markets of Asian youths, clubbers or ravers who would use them all year round. The paper underscores that the economic data of the area also suggest that this location is superior to New York City or Atlanta. Sources are listed as footnotes rather than in a works cited page.
From the Paper:
"With a population of about 810,000 as of 2008 , San Francisco boasts a very diverse collection of people. Approximately a third of the population is composed of Asians and the downtown area has a flourishing "China Town". This collection of Asian adolescents would be quickly drawn to the LED eyelashes as Asians have been known, especially in recent years, to do anything to make their eyes appear larger. Surveys show that with the recent trend to increase eye size, many Asians have even turned to surgery for the improvements they seek."
