"It is ironic that the one who is most displaced by the new toy, a Space Commander, Woody is intelligent, diplomatic and accustomed to doing the thinking for the group, until he finds himself forced to surrender his favored position on Andy's bed to the newcomer. The newcomer is heroic and intently focused on fixing his space ship, trying to maintain contact with "mission control" with a constant stream of one-way messages.
