"At the outset of the film the viewers are presented with the prevailing situation in Chicago which has turned into a city at war due to the enforcement of prohibition laws. (Prohibiting liquor). The direction is top notch and De Palma has taken every care to ensure the effectiveness of each scene with suspense reeling out all the time.
