"Morgan Spurlock's documentary Super Size Me is presented as a critical look at the eating habits of Americans through the indulging in fast food. The focus of the documentary is mainly on McDonalds. The documentary involves the strict variables of Spurlock going on an all McDonald's diet for one month and the effects this has on his body as well as his life. The following paper will present a synopsis of the movie and the analysis of facts presented by Spurlock's documentary research about the unhealthy effects of eating fast food.
"During the course of one month Spurlock eats McDonalds essentially three times a day. He subsequently eats everything on the McDonald's menu at least once. Along with the factor of eating nothing but McDonald's he also quits exercising regularly. The purpose behind these actions is to give an accurate portrayal after one month of the average American, their possible deception by fast food restaurants, and their lifestyle drawbacks."
