Paper Summary:

This paper is actually made up of three different essays. The essays are all reviews of movies; "Shell we Dance?," "Fahrenheit 9/11" and "Hotel Rwanda." The paper explains that two of the films are motion pictures while one is a documentary. The paper offers comments on the plot, the theme and also on the performances of the lead and supporting characters.

"Hotel Rwanda is a powerful film about the events that took place in Rwanda in the mid 1990s. During a civil war that took place more, than one million people died in the period of some 100 days. This film, based on a true story not only leaves us with a strong emotional response to these events, but also educates the viewers on the history of that African country and the events that led to the terrible actions depicted in the movie. This film is in many ways a story of the absurdity and senselessness of ethnic and racial hatred and intolerance."
