This is an analysis of a movie "The Patriot". Benjamin Martin is an ex-military man who is afraid of the violence he is capable of doing. He wants to be passive and stay at home with his children. "Many military men have returned home to suffer flashbacks of what happened during the war. In fact, a name for this is post-traumatic stress. Benjamin Martin is an ex-military man who is afraid of the violence he is capable of doing. He has no desire to fight another war. Yet, in life often choices must be made to protect one's family. This is true of Benjamin Martin, a widower with children, who decides that revenge is necessary after his son is murdered. Benjamin Martin leads a militia group of peasants, slaves, and others to victory against the British. Martin realized patriotism is important and he took up the fight against the British. Three important elements of this movie are the main character, the role of his sons, and the location."
