"The paper deals with the market expansion and the growth of Wal-Mart stores. In addition to this is set a few economic aspects which can affect how it expands. "

From the Paper:

The Wal-Mart Corporation is one of the largest retailers today and still growing. They currently have around 3500 stores nationwide and around the world. In addition to this they have decided to get serious about selling groceries and other items in the suburbs around the world (Lee, 2005, p. 16). With this new goal in mind they now have an agenda to start putting together their plan of action to begin their expansion projects to achieve the percentage of growth and penetration they have set for themselves (p. 16). The question many communities are asking themselves is when will the expansion stop? In addition to that is there really enough areas to expand into? According to Wal-Mart they say yes, and as a result have plans to expand in several sites, for example Bentonville, Arkansas, Woodstock, Crystal Lake and several other sites by October of 2006. (p. 16).
