"Without a doubt, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA hereafter) has had and will continue to have a powerful effect on the reward systems within corporations and the ways in which HR departments must address compensation issues. One of the primary foci of the FSLA is to insure consistent overtime compensation for workers in the face of corporate policies that do not always compensate employees.
