Researchers report that reaction times are faster when the subject has been warned that a stimulus will arrive soon. Welford was the first to have developed an understanding between the roles of psychology and fatigue. Complicated actions tend to affect reaction times. Mental fatigue has a far greater effect than physical fatigue on reaction times."
