1,150 words (approx. 4.6 pages) | 1 source | 2002 United States

Paper Summary:

Developed by Aristotle, virtue ethics emphasized the importance of reason and virtue for good moral character. Virtue ethics elevated the world of reason to a high level. More than anything else, it emphasized the importance of a balance. Since pornography is an extreme of sexual expression, virtue ethics would oppose it, since it emphasizes a mean between excess and defect.
