This paper constructs a comparison between what we can learn about the Vikings and the people they encountered. based on a review of the relevant literature, followed by a discussion and summary of the research in the conclusion. It includes a history of how Vikings spread around Northern Europe, explains the other civilizations they encountered, and how these people perceived them.
