Paper Summary:
This paper is a pro-Iraq War essay. It defends the position that Saddam Hussein was, indeed, a major threat to the U.S. and contends that going to war in 2003 was long overdue.
From the Paper:
""They happily say: 'Good. Americans got it good.' And I am very, very, very angry."1 Yet while many staunch anti-Americans around the world exulted on September 11, 2001, most Americans were too shocked to be angry. Repeatedly seeing the reruns of two airplanes flying into the World Trade Center was a nightmare. The September 11 attacks were a wake-up-call to Americans: the United States needs to be more engaged in seemingly distant parts of the world, such as the Middle East, and seek out threats and destroy them before they can strike at us. One of those threats is Saddam Hussein."
