In the modern technological age in which we live, the pervasive access and consumption to entertainment and information has had a transformative effect on societal values and notions of self to the point that it does indeed to make sense to ask what role our management of information and entertainment has in our lives and how that entertainment effects our notions of self and, in turn, our worldview."
