"Anthony Winson and Belinda Leach, in 'Contingent Work, Disrupted Lives: Labour and Community in the New Rural Economy', examine the impact of economic change upon the economies and lives of people in rural communities in south-western Ontario. This economic change is seen as a product of the relationship between new global economic processes and globalization (the macro level) and the impact of these new processes on everyday life at the local (micro) level. Given that this is a work of focusing on labour and economics it is understandable that the theoretical perspective of its analysis is heavily dependent upon the concept of class."
