1,030 words (approx. 4.1 pages) | 1 source | MLA | 2002 United States

Paper Summary:

This paper discusses the conflict in Israel and the occupied Palestinian zones and how Israeli occupation puts a strain on Palestinian culture in three specific areas--religious practice, housing and health conditions.

From the Paper:

"Israeli occupation in the state of Palestine has put a strain on Palestinian culture and has had a large effect in numerous areas of this culture. Although there are an abundant amount of areas to study the main focus is the result of Palestinian religion, housing, and health conditions due to the Israeli occupation of their lands. The religions aspect will take a look at how, whom, and when they can practice their own religion and what constraints and situations the Palestinians endure while they practice. The housing situation will be explained to the fullest and describe the conditions in these habitats, which most Palestinians are forced to live in. Health conditions shall be illustrated and described including views of how the medical services work, who are involved in these medical services, and general information and concerns about the health conditions. These three effects of Israeli occupation in the state of Palestine should illustrate the lives of most Palestinians under this rule."
