2,789 words (approx. 11.2 pages) | 9 sources | MLA | 2002 United States

Paper Summary:

This paper provides a brief history and explanation of the Kyoto Protocol. The paper includes an examination of those countries in support of the terms and those who are against it, followed by a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of the protocol. Finally, recommendations and a summary of the research are provided in the conclusion.

From the Paper:

"Today, Canada and the United States share a great deal in common. These close neighbors are each other's largest trading partners and they maintain the world's longest unguarded border. While the two countries may not see eye-to-eye on every issue, it is clear that these two North American giants share some very common reservations about the Kyoto Protocol and how it would impact their respective interests."
