"On first glance the European Union may look like a compilation of countries uniting for a better future. After all, following hostile attempts to unite by the likes of Hitler and Caesar, this new integration was carried out peaceably without any heralded foreign objection. However, the truth of the European Union is that it is an overbearing, undemocratic entity that threatens not only the sovereignty of individual states but also the democratic freedom of individuals within those states. The EU is a creation of primarily powerful economic, and secondarily political, and bureaucratic elites that is doomed to fail due to its undemocratic nature."
