The Internet has sparked off an electronic revolution unlike any other advent ever known. While it is increasingly important for any progressive individual to have at least a basic understanding of the 'net', it is absolutely critical for those interested in business/marketing to familiarise themselves with it. This study will make small steps towards this end. It will give a brief outline of the development of the Internet, where it stands at present, and what we might expect from it in the future.
