"This essay examines one work of art and attempts to analyze the ways in which the artist chose to represents himself or herself in the particular work. It also looks at the ways in which the artist wants this and other works to be taken and understood. It was relatively easy to choose the artist for this assignment. What was difficult was deciding on a particular piece of his work, as there are many that could serve for this purpose. The painting selected is called Accommodations of Desire and Salvador Dali painted it in 1929. This painting is currently in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art."
