However, most researchers agree that globalization is essentially the integration of various systems on a global scale. For example, when discussing overreaching features of international systems Thomas Friedman declares, The globalization system is a bit different. it also has one overarching feature- integration. The world has become an increasingly interwoven place, and today, whether you are a company or a country, your threats and opportunities increasingly derive from who you are connected to (Friedman 157)."
