"Throughout history their has been no other society like that of Sparta. As I will show, Spartan society was very militaristic. A strong emphasis was place on warfare and strength. I will also show how Sparta's ruler, Lycurgus, placed this strong emphasis on his people, starting at a very young age. I will also present different customs and norms that Lycurgus enforced."
