However, some anxiety disorders come from external events. We are talking about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Acute Stress Disorder. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a clinical condition that can be traced to a quantifiable, traumatic moment in one's life. In the case of soldiers in Iraq, this is the result of an ongoing traumatic movement over a long period of time, which compounded the potential for post traumatic stress."
