Paper Summary:
This paper examines the life and work of Smith Wigglesworth, a man whose name is widely recognized in the healing ministry around the whole world. He was given the title of "apostle of faith" because of his complete confidence in his faith in God.
From the Paper:
"Smith Wigglesworth was born to John and Martha Wigglesworth on June 8, 1859. Being poverty stricken, this family of six was supported by a father who worked extensive hours coupled with Smith Wigglesworth working at the age of six. His working career would continue in a mill alongside his father bringing prosperity to his family, but would hinder his educational learning such as reading and writing. His parents were not Christians up to this time, but his grandmother who attended a Wesleyan church brought Smith Wigglesworth with her every time she went. At the age of eight, Smith claims he would receive revelation of the work of Christ and would be saved on that day. Winning his mother to Christ, his father realized it would be appropriate to take his family to an Episcopal church to continue their growth."
