It has been historically proven that when a group of people are prepared to conquer, exploit, and enslave another group, religion is used as a primary tool. The purpose of this research paper is to constructively conduct a philosophical examination on oppressive slavery in Christianity. In addition, it also attempts to prove that both Christianity and oppressive slavery are not philosophically compatible.

"One can enforce slavery in numerous ways, politically, physically, and mentally, but one of the most effective ways of enforcing slavery is by applying logic and reasoning. This would probably fall under the slave mentally category as the oppressor justifies his oppressive behavior by telling the oppressed that he must be the master, and they must be the slave because it just makes sense, from a logical and reasoning perspective. This usually happens after the group has been physically conquered. As noted earlier, prominent philosophers such as Aristotle was an advocate of slavery."
