Although she often sides with conservative judges Chief Justice Rhenquist and Justice Burger, she has made center/liberal stands on several issues. It seems that she may be more liberal on social issues, like abortion, than many conservatives would like, even angering some groups, but not liberal enough to be well liked by liberal groups."
