While Creon defends himself from the accusations of Oedipus he taints his words with succulent messages of pathos, logos and ethos... When comparing Creon's speech to Aristotle's guidelines for successful rhetoric we can see that Creon speaks in a manor that renders him "worthy of confidence" (17)."
