However, racism and racial tension are still very present within mainstream North American society. This essay will look at the examples of racial tension and racism in two different works. The first work is 'The Truth About Stories' by Thomas King. The second work is 'Riot' by Andrew Moodie. Both works deal with a wide range of issues but the common issue in both works is racial tension and racism."
