Although regarded by some as useful in its role within our educational system, its saturating effects are seemingly detrimental to our graduating psychologists. Such effects flow over to science as a whole and are believed to be the foundation of psychology's inability to be recognised and regarded as a valuable asset within modern day science (Johnson and Pennypacker, 1993)."
