In there Mission Statement, the statement that the men are to base there lives off of, Promise Keepers tell its members that the Bible is "without error" (Promise Keepers). While reading the Bible literally it is very clear the word "man" or any conjugation of it, is the dominant pronoun that is used. While using the term "man" it becomes very difficult to include women in any role in the teachings of the Bible. It leaves only "man" to become Christ-like. However, there may be many interpretations of why the Bible uses the pronoun "man" so heavily by many other religious groups. An example would be that when the Bible was written it was just the proper way to address mankind, as men."
