Hobbes was a confirmed "Monarchist," and that he felt that the "Divine Right of Kings," supersedes the relationships between God and man, or humankind to be more politically correct. Furthermore, he avers to being an atheist with no fear of God but in the privacy of his surroundings did indeed accept the rituals of the English Church."
