Paper Summary:

This paper discusses the process known as organizational behavior in which individuals and groups work together within organizations. The paper explains that there are many factors that can influence this behavior. The paper presents members of a team that represent several different types of organizations in both the service and production industries. The paper illustrates some examples of various internal and external factors that influence their behavior and shows how they deal with them.

"The corporate office is setup fairly similarly to the drive-ins in the functionality aspect. First there are the Directors that reside at the top of each department, such as marketing, finance, human resources, franchise sales, etc. Each department is then broken up into smaller areas. For example, the finance department is broken up into payroll, taxes, accounts payable and auditing with a supervisor in each area. There are also team leaders within these areas that are utilized for added duties and to ensure the tasks are getting completed in a timely manner."
