Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, is a chronic and disabling disease that affects one out of every ten-thousand people, is most common among those of Northern European ancestry, and typically appears between the ages of twenty to thirty. MS is a progressive neurological disorder that affects the functions of the physical structures and systems of the body with symptoms ranging from numbness and lowered motor control of the limbs to paralysis and blindness.
