Among the government offices and divisions that are aggressively hiring minorities is the United States Department of State. As Eun-Kyung (2001) explains We represent the United States and we'd like to make sure we have a Foreign Service that looks as much like America as possible. We don't today," (Eun-Kyung, 2001, B4).
