It analyzes Mexican trade policy and government intervention in policy planning.

Leading industries, which are usually found in Mexico's larger cities, manufacture iron and steel, motor vehicles, engines, processed foods, beverages, tobacco, refined petroleum and petrochemicals, chemical fertilizers, and other products.. The country is also known for its handicrafts, including pottery, woven goods, and silverwork. Mexico's chief ports are Veracruz, Tampico, Coatzacoalcos , Mazatl?n, and Ensenada."
