This paper is a review of an article concerning a highly unethical and medically unjustifiable study that was begun in the Hamilton area. In spite of the ethical problems and needless use of drugs, it can still be asked whether the research could have been beneficial. Even though this was a case of a major pharmaceutical corporation which makes Prozac trying to create a special target market for the drug, the one point about the study was that the research design was appropriate. Every other feature of the study was totally unsound. The paper discusses all these aspects of the study.
