The author concludes with the assertion that political decisions infringe on human rights and suggests that the link between the two can often be overlooked.

He says that if the occupational statistics of Europe are observed, it becomes apparent that invariably, protestants are the ones who hold higher positions in the society, ?business leaders and owners of capital, as well as the higher grades of skilled labour, and even more the higher technically and commercially trained personnel of modern enterprises, are overwhelmingly Protestant.? A relationship is established between the character of the Protestant members of the society and capitalism.?
